    BOSTON, MA- The Western Connecticut State University women’s basketball team was downed at Little East Conference opponent UMass-Boston, 92-60, on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Colonials concluded the regular season at 11-14 overall and 4-10 in league play, earning the No. 5 seed in the upcoming conference tournament. They will travel to fourth-seeded cross-state rival Eastern Connecticut for a quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., seeking to upend them for the second time in a week.
